Texas HOSA Members/Advisors,
I want to start my letter to you by sharing my gratitude. Thank you for allowing me to lead our organization on the state level and thank you for giving me the chance to participate in the planning of this year’s state conference. The theme, “HOSA on Fire,” came to me late one night during a state officer meeting, and I wish you could have seen how excited we got about all sorts of fun ideas and opportunities that we could create for the members. The whole state officer team has immensely enjoyed planning what we hope to be the most exciting state conference yet. The theme actually has a lot of meaning to us. The fire represents the passion our team has for HOSA- Future Health Professionals, and from there, the passion our organization has for creating quality healthcare professionals that treat patients instead of symptoms. When we decided that fire represented passion, we were imagining a fast spreading wildfire that set everything in its path ablaze. This year, it is our primary goal to spread our passion. We want to create a spark that travels through Texas HOSA, so that we not only have the largest membership in the nation, but also the most dedicated, excited, and passionate members. Here is to reaching our goals and becoming Health Care Providers together.
Texas HOSA State Officer President
