Keynote speakers, activities, workshops, and the final rounds of competition.
On September 27, HOSA members from all over Area 6 gathered at Atascocita High School for the 2025 Fall Leadership Conference. Participants had the opportunity to hear a riveting keynote speech, and attend breakout sessions, as well as participate in a highly successful fundraiser benefitting HOSA’s premier service project, NMDP.
Additionally, chapters showed off their school and Area 6 spirit at our exciting opening and closing sessions. We can’t wait to see everyone again at our Spring Leadership Conference, at Dayton High School.
Congratulations to Dobie HOSA for winning the highly coveted FLC Spirit Stick! They showed great positivity and camaraderie throughout the entire conference. For a chance to win the Spirit Stick at SLC, be sure to wear your Area 6 pink gear and show lots of spirit all around the conference!
Complete details on the election process can be found in Section E of the Texas HOSA Handbook. TexasHOSA.org/handbooks

This will help the nominating comittee get to know you inside and outside of HOSA. The application includes a 2 minute video introducing yourself to the comittee.
You will prepare a 1 minute introductory speech, and then conduct an interview. This will help the committee learn more about you, both inside and outside of HOSA.
During the business session, nominated candidates will deliver speeches to voting delegates from chapters across the area.
Chapter Spotlight
Inspired by David James’ keynote speech at the Fall Leadership Conference, Kingwood Park HOSA hosted a service event benefiting the Peyton Heart Project. They made hearts to spread around the community, which helps to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. They hope that the hearts spread joy and positivity around their school and community.
