DATES

Affiliation Deadline for Secondary Members: November 15, 2021 

Affiliation Deadline for Post-Secondary /Collegiate /Middle School Members: February 01, 2022

On Line Testing Registration Deadline: November 17, 2021 

Fee Payment Due: November 29, 2021 

All Areas Test: November 30 - December 1-2, 2021 

Testing Times: 7:00am to 5:00pm Central Time

COMPETITORS ALLOWED PER CHAPTER

HOSA members may enter only one competitive event. In addition, competitors may participate in as many Recognition Events as they wish.

Health Science Events: 4 competitors per event

Health Professions Events: 2 competitors/ 2 teams per event

Emergency Preparedness: 2 competitors/ 2 teams per event

Leadership Events: 2 competitors/ 2 teams per event

Teamwork Events: 2 team per event

Recognition Events: Unlimited

Officer Testing: 4 candidates per chapter

 

RESULTS

Health Science Events: The top 3 scorers from each Area will advance to the State Leadership Conference.  *Medical spelling will advance the top 15 raw scorers to area competition for round 2 of the event.

Health Professions Events / Emergency Preparedness/ Leadership Events:  Each chapter may register two competitor/team for these events. The top 10 competitor/team scorers from each Area will advance to AREA competition for Round 2 (skills) of the event.

Teamwork Events: The top 10 team raw scores from each area will advance to area competition for Round 2 of the events. The top 8 HOSA Bowl teams & Biomedical Debate teams will be seeded for area conference.

Recognition: The top percentage from each area will advance to State. (Healthcare Issue Exam)

Officer Testing: Those candidates scoring 70% or higher will advance to AREA for Credentialing.
